My Journey Thus Far
The Humble Beginnings
Born on September 6, 1994, in the coastal city of Galle, Sri Lanka. Growing up with two siblings and attending Richmond College, my early years laid the foundation for my values—community, empathy, and a caring nature that I still carry with me today.
Finding My Voice & Leadership
Completed the 'Future Leaders' training program hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education in September 2014. Discovered my love for public speaking and community building through AIESEC at the University of Moratuwa. Serving as LC VP Outgoing Exchange, I helped win 'Most Sustainable' and 'Most Outstanding' awards. Motto: 'The duty of a man is to serve the mankind'.
Industrial Footprints
Successfully completed the Unilever Supply Chain Talent Programme. Joined as an Industrial Engineer, executing root cause analyses and process optimization, saving 48kg of water hourly and drastically improving plant energy efficiency.
Engineering Foundation
Graduated with BSc (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. Developed a reconfigurable supporting structure for aircraft assembly and maintenance with Sri Lankan Airlines during my undergraduate years.
The Dual Engine Starts
Founded LOOM Brand Designs, scaling to 5,000+ brands across 82 countries. Simultaneously served as Mechanical Engineer at Neptune Diesel House, saving 5.2M LKR yearly through an integrated oil recovery system and 5S methodology implementation.
The Northern Leap
Migrated to Sweden to pursue an MSc in Production Engineering and Management at Jönköping University. Partnered with Husqvarna Group and ITAB, completing my thesis on reconfigurable material handling systems.
Automotive Excellence
Manufacturing Process Engineer for Volvo Cars' V436 EV battery enclosure project. Led the industrialization of the first in-house CNC line, achieving over 35 Million SEK in total cost savings.
Digital Innovation
Architected cloud-native solutions at AMARIS (Automated Org Chart, AI CV Analyzer). Founded Telos Advisory in November to bridge the IT/OT gap and help global clients achieve digital compliance like NIS2 and GDPR.
